Prophecy Testimony

💥 Something cool 😎 I remember many years back when i started a real relationship with God and began to believe in the supernatural. The Holy Spirit began to teach me and give me revelations of many things. I didn’t fully understand everything but one day i was speaking to a bloke in my neighbourhood outside his house. I didn’t know him that well but as I spoke to him words just started coming out of my mouth about his future and how he would remember what i had spoken and that he would turn to Jesus and embrace his love and gift of eternal life. He didn’t fully accept Jesus that day but the spirit inside me knew he would in the future. Sure enough many years later i got a Facebook message from this fella saying how he accepted Jesus and remembered what i had said!! I was so blessed to hear this good news and God reminded me about this day. God is so good 😊

As i am texting this message God reminded me of this scripture ⬇️

1 Thessalonians 5:19-20 Don't turn away God's Spirit or ignore prophecies.

Yes there are many false prophets in this world and you have to test what Spirit the person is speaking out of. Are they speaking out of love and grace or are they speaking out of a heart of legalism and control. If a prophet doesn’t set you free they may not be a true prophet. Show them grace and be on your way.

1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 Put everything to the test. Accept what is good and don't have anything to do with evil.

Matthew 24:11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.

Just remember there are real Prophets that God has been empowering and helping to grow in wisdom, love and grace. A prophet is simply a friend of God and should never abuse his position. A true prophet loves. prays and blesses people. God has many prophets in every nation actually, they speak to the surrounding community and tell them what they need to hear.

What people need to hear is that God loves them. God wants everyone to be uplifted and encouraged by his word of Grace and Love. That is the purpose of a true prophet.

1 Corinthians 14:3 But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort.

John the Baptist did no miracles during his earthly ministry yet Jesus called him the greatest prophet. Wow 😮 I would have thought Elijah or Elisha would have been the greatest prophet because they did supernatural miracles. But the reason John was called the greatest is because he pointed people to the Saviour! He pointed to the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. 🌎 Amazing!

Luke 7:28 I tell you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John;

So would have to say that is is the same today. A true and great prophet is someone who speaks with Love and points people to Jesus. 🙏🏼

We need more people talking about the truth that will set others free and that is talking about the free gift of eternal life. 🎁✝️

1 Corinthians 14:1 Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy.
